Nurkić's Phoenix secures playoff spot against Garza's Minnesota

(Patria) - The final games of the NBA regular season were played last night, and the playoff matchups are known.

Phoenix, with our Jusuf Nurkić, celebrated in Minnesota against the home Timberwolves with 106:125, and was helped by the New Orleans Pelicans' loss to the Los Angeles Lakers (108:124), thus securing a direct spot in the playoffs.

For the Suns tonight, the most efficient was Bradley Beal (36 points), and Rudy Gobert (21) for the Timberwolves.

Jusuf Nurkić was the top rebounder in the game (eight rebounds), but also the biggest ball thief (five). He also recorded six points and five rebounds. In this match, another Bosnian national team player also appeared, but in the Minnesota lineup.

Interestingly, Minnesota and Phoenix will form one playoff pair in the Western Conference.

Luka Garza was more efficient than his national team colleague, recording nine points in five minutes of play. He added three rebounds to that.

In the East, direct playoff spots were secured by Boston, New York, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Orlando, and Indiana. The play-in pairs in this conference are Philadelphia – Miami and Chicago – Atlanta.

In the West, playoff spots were secured by Oklahoma, Denver, Minnesota, LA Clippers, Dallas, and Phoenix. Play-in pairs: New Orleans – LA Lakers, Sacramento – Golden State.
