(Patria) - Bosnian basketball player Jusuf Nurkić ended his NBA season in the saddest possible way - with a serious nose injury.
After missing the last few games, it has now been decided that the Bosnian center must undergo surgery and faces a long break.
The regular NBA season ends in mid-April, and Nurkić will not recover by then, meaning he will not be back on the court until the second half of the year.

This is a real shame for the experienced Bosnian basketball player, as he played excellently this season and recorded as many as three triple-doubles in January.
After that, the Jazz started to tank games for a better position in the draft lottery, and Nurkić became a victim, as he wouldn't play when the game was on the line.
To make matters worse, Nurkić's contract expires at the end of the season, and he becomes a free agent, and he could have used the remaining games to prove himself further.
However, as he is a long-time NBA player, Nurkić should not have problems finding a new club, and the possibility of him staying with the Jazz is not excluded.
