New medal for BiH: Bronze and European record in U18 duet

(Patria) - The historic series of successes for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues at the European Shooting Championship!

In the U18 – duet discipline, national team members Amir Memišević and Zakira Pušina won the bronze medal, confirming that BiH shooting has a bright future.
In the qualification part of the competition, Amir and Zakira excelled and achieved the best result, setting a new European record in this discipline in the process. They thus showed exceptional technical stability, mental strength, and competitive maturity.

In the semi-final match, they faced the top pair from Serbia – Anastasija Živković / Mihajlo Lončarski, where after a great fight, they were stopped on their way to the final. However, the bronze medal deservedly remained in the hands of the BiH national team members.
This result comes a day after winning team bronze in the U16 competition, making the European Championship one of the most successful for Bosnia and Herzegovina in youth categories already.

Two European medals in two days confirm the quality of work of clubs, coaching staff, and the continuity of systematic development of young athletes. The Shooting Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina can be proud – BiH shooting is writing new pages of history.
