Football Association on the cancelled match: High degree of risk for playing the match with the national team of Israel

(Patria) - The international friendly match, which was supposed to be played as part of the EURO 2024 play-offs at the "Grbavica" stadium in Sarajevo on 26.03.2024 between the "A" national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israel has been cancelled.

The Football Association of BiH states that after consultations with relevant bodies, and considering the current security situation and the high degree of risk for playing the match with the national team of Israel, it was concluded that the match in Sarajevo be cancelled.

"UEFA has also given its consent to the cancellation of the match, with full understanding of the current situation. Our "A" national team will play a new friendly match in one of the next available slots in the UEFA calendar during 2024.

Accordingly, all media activities that were planned for this match are also cancelled," it was announced.
