BiH women footballers gather in Zenica today for playoff matches against Serbia

(Patria) - The women's senior national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will gather today at the Training Center of the Football Federation of BiH in Zenica, where they will begin preparations for the upcoming semi-final playoff matches against the Serbian team for a place in EURO 2025 in Switzerland.

The first match will be played on October 25th at the NS BiH Training Center in Zenica, and the return leg on October 29th in Stara Pazova.

The winners of that tie will meet the better team from the Luxembourg - Sweden two-leg tie in the second round. These matches are scheduled between November 27th and December 3rd.

Seven winners from the second round will join hosts Switzerland and directly qualified Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain at the final draw on December 16th in Lausanne.

For the first round playoff matches against the Serbian national team, coach Selver Hodžić has selected 24 players.

The list includes:

midfield: Elma Smajić (SV Neulengbach), Marija Ana Milinković (FC Inter), Sofija Krajšumović (CSKA Moscow), Elma Husić (ŽNK Emina), Aida Hadžić (Trabzonspor), Emina Eekić (Spokane Zeyphyr FC), Lidija Kuliš (Abu Dhabi Country Club), Dajana Spasojević (SFK 2000 Sarajevo), Andrea Čule (ŽNK Emina), Alma Krajnić (SFK 2000 Sarajevo) and Emina Trumić (Mallbackens IF);
