Netherlands defeats Poland after a comeback

(Patria) - The Netherlands national team defeated Poland today in Hamburg after a comeback with a score of 2:1, in the first round of Group D of the European Championship being held in Germany.

Poland took the lead in the 16th minute, with Adam Buksa scoring with a header after a corner kick.

The Dutch equalized in the 29th minute through Cody Gakpo. Wout Weghorst secured their triumph seven minutes before the end.

The best BiH referee, Irfan Peljto, served as the fourth official for this match played at the "Volksparkstadion".

In the other match of this group, Austria and France will play tomorrow at 9 PM.
