Fans in Zetra honored Mirza Delibašić with song and choreography

(Patria) - The beginning of tonight's match between KK Bosna and Crvena zvezda in Zetra was marked by a large number of fans, who paid tribute to Mirza Delibašić Kinđe with a special choreography, who passed away 24 years ago.

During the presentation of the basketball players of Bosna and Crvena zvezda, the song "Mirza, hvala ti" (Mirza, thank you) was played over the speakers, which his friend Davorin Popović sang to him at his farewell match in 1984.

Numerous fans sang the song, and a banner with his image was also raised.

In his honor, the hall in Sarajevo's Skenderija is named "Mirza Delibašić", and the basketball Cup competition in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been renamed the Mirza Delibašić Cup.
