After Special Recognition in Zlatibor and Award in Budva, 'Olympics in Sarajevo' at Festival in Milan

(Patria) - After receiving a Special Personal Recognition for contribution to film art, television and sport last month in Zlatibor, the documentary 'Olympics in Sarajevo', produced by Federal Television and authored by Muhamed Bikić, was declared the best medium-length documentary film at the second international festival Budva Sports and Arts Film Festival (BSAFF), where 43 films from 16 countries were screened.

"This brilliant story that happened four decades ago in Sarajevo is traveling across our region, which is still proud of those happy times. Thank you to the organizers led by director and founder Miloš Todorović, as well as the jury in Budva, who recognized and rewarded the emotion that the film about the Sarajevo Olympics carries and conveys. As the legendary Jure Franko once said that the silver medal he won in Sarajevo in 1984 is a medal for all of us from the former Yugoslavia, so this film of ours is a film for all of us. See you at the Festival in Milan...", said the film's author Muhamed Bikić.

The Budva Sports & Arts Film Festival is among the 130 members of the large world family of the Federation of International Television and Screen Sports (FICTS), headquartered in Milan, where from November 5 to 9, the "Sport Movies & TV 2024 – 42nd Milano International Ficts Fest" will be held, in which the documentary 'Olympics in Sarajevo' will also participate.
