AFTER THE MAJORITY CHANGE SBiH Club evicted from premises in the CS building, space given to Independent Deputies Club and ZNG

(Patria) - The head of the Party for BiH Club in the CS Assembly, Muamer Bandić, today requested that the CS Assembly declare itself on the initiative to obligate the Commission for Elections, Appointments and Administrative Affairs to provide the Party for BiH Club with working premises in the Sarajevo Canton building and ensure equality and equal opportunity in political activity within 15 days.

The Commission, at its session on February 9, by conclusion evicted the SBiH Deputies Club and assigned the space to deputies Hodžić-Lemezan-Gaković.

"It is unbelievable that in a democratic system the right of these deputies is resolved by depriving deputies of another club of their right to work. SBiH does not have equal working conditions. The parties of the troika are preventing the achievement of equality in political work. We demand that the CS Assembly provide us with working conditions like those of other deputies and clubs," said Bandić.

Fatima Gavrankapetanović-Smailbegović said that such eviction and humiliation is unbecoming of a democratic society and that the new premises are in the ZOI'84 building and that her "home is closer than the new premises."

Deputy Elza Gaković pointed out that one of the conclusions was to find working premises for SBiH in the Sarajevo Canton building, and that the same space is also used by ZNG.

At the head of this commission is Elvedin Okerić, who said it was about a written request from ZNG and the independent club, which have four deputies, to be provided with working premises.

"The Commission was forced to assign that office, and the SBiH club was assigned new premises outside the building. We sent a letter to the Joint Service to provide premises for SBiH deputies in the Sarajevo Canton building as well," said Okerić.

ZNG deputy Damir Marjanović called for finding space for colleagues from SBiH in the CS building.

Bandić addressed Okerić, stating that the right of one club was taken away and given to another.

"You made a decision by which you undemocratically evicted a club that had already been using that space for one year. You hide every time behind other institutes to conceal your intentions," said Bandić.

We remind you that the Party for BiH has not been part of the CS Government or the ruling majority since November 15. Instead of the Party for BiH, ZNG and independent deputies have joined the troika parties.
