On Krišto's proposal, the session of the Council of Ministers of BiH moves from Trg Bosne i Hercegovine in Sarajevo to Kneza Domagoja in Mostar

(Patria) - The ruling coalition at the state level (Trojka, HDZ BiH, and SNSD) has decided to introduce a new practice in the work of the Council of Ministers, whereby the sessions of the Council of Ministers, for the first time in history, are being moved out of the buildings of state institutions, i.e., out of Sarajevo as the capital and administrative center of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Namely, the next session will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM in Mostar, Kneza Domagoja bb.

Such a proposal was made at the last session by the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Borjana Krišto, and it was obviously accepted.

However, the Rules of Procedure of the Council of Ministers of BiH stipulate that sessions are generally held in Sarajevo in the building of BiH institutions.

As Patria learns, the air conditioners in the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the sessions of the Council of Ministers are also held, have not been functional for several days, so the authorities have decided to hold the session of the Council of Ministers in Mostar.

Whether the malfunction of the air conditioners is accidental or if it is about moving the institutions of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the capital and from the premises of state institutions to Mostar, on the eve of making difficult decisions, is a question that the ministers from the Trojka must answer first.

On the other hand, this opens up the possibility for the next session of the Council of Ministers of BiH to be held in Lukavica or Banja Luka at the request of ministers from RS.

The session is expected to be held in the building of BiH institutions in Mostar, which houses several agencies and ombudsmen. A fleet of 30 cars will be dispatched from Sarajevo solely for the needs of this session.

Otherwise, the agenda is modest with about 20 items on the agenda, without a single law, unless something drastically changes from today's coalition meeting in Mostar and the agenda is supplemented.
