Muzur hosted Barlov, Kapo and Godinjak: Our wish is to support them

(Patria) - That athletes are among the best ambassadors of our country and that they present themselves in the best way to the sports public and the world, we have seen countless times. As well as the fact that Ilidža is abundant with numerous talents who only need to be given an opportunity.

Mayor Nermin Muzur hosted the current Paralympic silver medalist Ismail Barlov with his coach Amel Kapo, and with them Ismet Godinjak, a representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in sitting volleyball, a member of our trophy-winning sitting volleyball team and the current Paralympic vice-champion. Those who have made us immensely proud in recent weeks.

"It is difficult to describe the feeling of admiration for these sports wizards, it is enough to just watch them and absorb their energy, desire, and motivation. Our wish is to support our Ilidža residents and we look forward to their new performances," said Muzur.

Regardless of numerous challenges, our Paralympians remain persistent on the path to achieving top results and winning medals. They thanked the mayor for the reception, the time allocated, and the symbolic gifts, but most of all for the attention given to the athletes.

For Ismail Barlov, this was his first Paralympics, while the appearance in Paris was the seventh appearance at the Paralympic Games for the experienced Godinjak.
