(Patria) – The best Bosnian-Herzegovinian skier Elvedina Muzaferija competed in her first race of the season as part of the European Cup.
Muzaferija competed in the downhill in Pass Thurn, Austria, and achieved a time of 1:34.97, which earned her sixth place.
Our skier started with a high bib number of 35, which meant she did not have ideal conditions on the track, but despite that, she achieved a notable result.
The race was won by Italy's Sara Allemand, who was 91 hundredths of a second faster than Muzaferija. Second place was taken by home competitor Anna Schilcher, while her compatriot Leonie Zegg was third.
With this placement, Muzaferija earned 40 points in the European Cup.
