Muzaferija scores first points in new downhill season, chance for better result in tomorrow's Super-G

(Patria) - Bosnia's best skier Elvedina Muzaferija opened the new alpine skiing season today in Beaver Creek, USA, and in her first run on this track she finished tied for 25th place and scored her first points of the new season.

A few moments of uncertainty on the very fast track cost Muzaferija a better result, but she herself pointed out before the run that she knows the track the least of all competitors.

Muzaferija will have a chance for a better result on Sunday at 7 p.m. when the Super-G is scheduled.

Today's winner was Austrian Cornelia Huetter with a time of 1:32.38, while Italian Sofia Goggia was 16 hundredths of a second slower, and Swiss skier Lari Gut-Behrami climbed to the lowest step of the podium with a time of 1:32.72.
