Muzaferija continues competition in FIS World Cup

(Patria) - The three-day competition in the speed disciplines of the FIS World Cup, which will be held in Kvitfjell, Norway from today until Sunday, will bring a lot of excitement to the ski slopes and in the standings of the disciplines.

The fastest female skiers in the world will compete in downhill today and tomorrow, while Sunday will be dedicated to the Super-G discipline.

This competition also marks the continuation of the season for Bosnia and Herzegovina's best alpine skier, Elvedina Muzaferija, who last year qualified for the World Cup finals in Kvitfjell and achieved historic performances in Saalbach.

The twenty-five-year-old competitor from Bosnia and Herzegovina currently holds 33rd and 37th place in the standings, with 16 points in the Super-G discipline and 6 points in downhill.

In Kvitfjell, she will have the opportunity to place among the top thirty, while she will have another chance to earn points on March 15th and 16th, when the final qualifying weekend of the FIS World Cup in these disciplines will be held in the Italian ski resort of La Thuile.

This year's finals for the best female skiers will take place in the American state of Idaho, where the finale of the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup will be held in the Sun Valley resort from March 22nd to 27th.

In addition to the speed discipline races, Muzaferija will also compete in giant slalom in the FIS World Cup after a long time, on March 8th in the world-renowned Swedish ski resort of Åre.

You can follow the races in Kvitfjell today, tomorrow, and on Sunday live on Eurosport 1 channel from 10:30 AM.
