Muzaferija at FIS Europa Cup in Kitzbühel

(Patria) - The best Bosnian alpine skier Elvedina Muzaferija is heading to a FIS Europa Cup competition for the first time this season today and tomorrow.

In Kitzbühel, Austria, both days of the weekend will be dedicated to the Super-G discipline for women.

So far this season, Muzaferija has competed in FIS World Cup races in speed disciplines, while at the recently held FIS World Ski Championships in Saalbach, she participated in the team combined and the downhill, Super-G, and giant slalom disciplines.

She is competing in FIS Europa Cup races a year after winning first place in the downhill in Crans Montana, Switzerland, bringing Bosnia and Herzegovina its first gold medal at a major international competition.

The start in Kitzbühel is at 10:30 AM, and 59 female skiers from thirteen countries worldwide are registered for the first race.
