Muzaferija outside points concluded downhill in St. Moritz, Super-G follows

(Patria) - In today's FIS World Cup downhill race, held in St. Moritz, the second career victory in the downhill discipline was achieved by young German skier Emma Aicher with a time of 1:30.50. Behind her was yesterday's winner, the experienced Lindsey Vonn, while Sofia Goggia took third place. Elvedina Muzaferija finished the race outside the points. Starting number 41 brought additional difficulties on the track, and the best Bosnian alpine skier tried to catch the fastest line from sector to sector and remain competitive for a place among the top 30.

A similar situation followed her in yesterday's race, but downhill is a discipline that does not forgive even the smallest mistakes, which is why Muzaferija finished today's performance at the bottom of the standings, in 51st place. The Bosnian team has time for a detailed analysis of the downhill discipline performance until December 20, when a new downhill race is scheduled in Val d’Isère (France).

However, the competition weekend in St. Moritz is not over yet. The fastest skiers in the world will compete in the first Super-G race of the season tomorrow, starting at 10:45 AM, in which we will also follow the performance of the only Bosnian competitor, Elvedina Muzaferija.

The new challenge on the track brings a new opportunity for Elvedina to confirm the stability and continuity of work from the previous period.
