Muzaferija and Delipara to represent BiH at Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics today

(Patria) - Bosnian alpine skier Elvedina Muzaferija will compete today in the Super-G discipline at the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The race is scheduled to start at 11:30 AM. You can follow the race live on BHRT channels.

Muzaferija has already made history for BiH sports at these Games, achieving 20th place in downhill, which is the best Olympic result for Bosnia and Herzegovina in that discipline. However, she emphasizes that her goal is even greater success.

"On Sunday, I competed in my first race at these Olympic Games and achieved the best result for Bosnia and Herzegovina ever, but that is definitely not my final goal. I know I can do much better and more, so I am looking forward to the Super-G race on Thursday and hope for the best possible result," said Muzaferija.

The best Olympic placement for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Super-G discipline to date is 25th place, achieved at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Elvedina Muzaferija faces a new challenge and an opportunity for another top result.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's representative in cross-country skiing, Teodora Delipara, will compete today in the 10-kilometer discipline at the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The race is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM.

With this appearance, Delipara will make her Olympic debut, and she states that her goal is to give her maximum and represent Bosnia and Herzegovina worthily at the biggest sporting event.

"I will try to give my maximum and represent my country in the best possible light," said Delipara.
