(Patria) - The basketball players of Dubai took an important step towards winning the ABA League after defeating Belgrade's Partizan 99:93 in the first game of the final series tonight.
Great credit for the victory of the home team goes to the representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Džanan Musa, who once again confirmed his class.
Before the start of the match, a minute of silence was held in memory of the prominent Bosnian sports journalist Edin Avdić, who passed away yesterday at the age of 47.

Dubai controlled the events on the court during the first half and went to the break with a nine-point lead (53:44).
However, Partizan played significantly better after the break and reduced the deficit to just three points by the end of the third quarter (69:66).
In the decisive period of the match, the home team did not allow a comeback. Dubai raised the tempo again, preserved the lead, and ultimately deservedly secured the victory for a 1:0 lead in the final series.
The most efficient player in the winning team was Musa with 22 points, six assists, and three rebounds.
He had great support from Kabengele and Wright, who each scored 19 points. Kabengele finished the match with eight rebounds and four assists, while Wright recorded nine assists.
Bosnian representative Kenan Kamenjaš added eight points and five rebounds.
For Partizan, Jones stood out with 21 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Brown scored 20 points with four rebounds, Washington added 18 points and three rebounds, while Bonga finished the match with 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
