(Patria) - Džanan Musa won a new title in his career after Dubai defeated Partizan in the ABA League final series and secured the regional championship trophy.
During the final stretch of the season, the Bosnian national team representative once again found himself in the spotlight of the Belgrade club's fans, who directed numerous insults at him from the stands during the match. However, Musa did not wish to further escalate tensions after the game.
“I would rather not comment on the insults. We need to put this matter to rest once and for all. From start to finish, I have always respected the fans and players of Partizan. What they do is their business. I don't want to get into the how or why. I believe I have been very fair. See you next year,” Musa said after the match.
Dubai concluded the final series with a 83:81 victory in Belgrade, winning 3-1 overall, thus clinching the ABA League title in their debut season in the regional competition.
It is worth recalling that Musa had been frequently linked with a potential move to Partizan in recent months, but after leaving Real Madrid, he decided to accept Dubai's offer. In his very first season with the new club, he secured a major trophy, once again confirming his status as one of the best basketball players from this region.
