(Patria) - The Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia has denied information published by some media outlets, based on a statement by former MUP inspector Nikola Kajkić, that the son of the President of Republika Srpska became a Croatian citizen.
“An inspection of the registry of requests for acquiring Croatian citizenship by naturalization, kept by the Ministry of Interior, has established that a person named Igor Dodik (father Milorad) did not submit a request for acquiring Croatian citizenship. Therefore, the information that this person was granted Croatian citizenship, which was reported by some media, is incorrect,” it was stated in the response to N1.
The information about the granting of citizenship was also denied yesterday on the “X” network by Igor Dodik himself.
“Yet another in a series of easily verifiable lies,” Dodik wrote, among other things.
