(Patria) - The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) confirmed that France will host the 2031 World Cup.
Matches will be played in Lille, Lyon and Paris.
The competition will run from August 29 to September 14 and will be the first in Europe since 2014.
After that, the championships were held in Asia, with the next one in 2027 in Qatar.
The finals will be held in the French capital, Paris, which will host this event for the first time in history.
Let us recall, France hosted the EuroBasket in 1951, 1983, 1999, and 2015 as a co-organizer.
