Muharemović: We know who Switzerland is, but we are going for the win

(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player Tarik Muharemović is satisfied with the point earned in the opening match against Canada in Toronto (1:1).

Our defender played a very good game and together with his defensive colleagues successfully repelled all Canadian attacks, but one ball still ended up behind Vasilj.

Muharemović addressed the media in Salt Lake City.

"We know who Switzerland is, we don't need to look at how they played against Qatar. We are going for the win, we need to aim to play like we did against Romania and Wales. Our focus should be on getting through the group and going as far as possible," said Muharemović.

He praised the atmosphere and the numerous fans supporting them.

"It's a great thing for players to come to the match, even here on the other side of the world they still come. I am very grateful to the Bosnian fans and BH Fanaticos who are always with us and will continue to be our 12th player. It's wonderful to have fans at an open training session."

Muharemović said they have analyzed the match against Canada.

When asked which Swiss player he sees as the biggest threat, Muharemović replied:

"Switzerland has Xhaka, Embolo, Vargas... Who I have analyzed, I'll keep to myself. My mind is set on getting through the group."

Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold a total of three training sessions in Salt Lake City, and a flight to Los Angeles is scheduled for June 17, where a day later they will play the second round match of Group B against Switzerland.

After the first round, all four teams in the group have one point each and an identical goal difference of 1:1, ensuring that everything in Group B will remain open until the end.
