(Patria) - The footballers of Zrinjski and Velež drew today in the 18th round of the Premier League of BiH. The final score was 1:1.

The match between the Mostar rivals was full of clear chances, and in the end, the visiting team managed to get a point in the closing stages.

The first big chance was seen in the sixth minute when Šakota shot, but goalkeeper Karić saved his attempt.

Zrinjski took the lead in the 11th minute. After a corner kick, a scramble ensued in the penalty area of Rođeni, where Nemanja Bilbija found himself best and scored for 1:0.

Ćuže had a chance to double the lead just a few minutes later, but Karić saved well again.

The first dangerous situation in front of Zrinjski's goal was seen in the 27th minute after a cross from Vehabović, but Haskić did not manage the situation well.

A quieter period followed, but the game flared up again towards the end of the first half.

First, Sušić threatened Velež from 25 meters, and in the very next action, Haskić had the best chance for Rođeni, shooting wide of the goal after a corner.

Velež was the much better side in the second half, and Mešić had the first chance, being alone about 15 meters from Zrinjski's goal, but his shot was blocked by Jakovljević.

Zrinjski had a chance to perhaps decide the winner when Bilbija was alone in front of goalkeeper Karić in the 61st minute, but he sent the ball wide of the goal.

Velež continued to control possession, but did not manage to score until the very end.

It was the 85th minute, Đurić's attempt was saved by goalkeeper Karačić, and then Milak got to the ball first and put the rebound into the net for the equalizer.

The score did not change until the end, so the Mostar rivals shared the points.

Zrinjski thus remained second with 37 points, the same as Borac, but with a game in hand, while Velež is fourth with 25 points, one less than third-placed Sarajevo.
