Young BiH football team defeated by Austria

The young football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated tonight at Grbavica by the selection of Austria with 2:0.

Vinko Marinović began his mandate on the bench of the young selection of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a match at Grbavica against Austria. A completely new team with many players under 21 years old offered solid resistance, but could not surprise Austria.

The guests dominated from the start. Veratsching threatened first after seven minutes of play, but failed to score.

The BiH selection responded in the 19th minute. Ibrišimović sent the ball over the goal from an excellent position.

Austria had another chance in the 23rd minute. Seidl threatened with a header, then from a distance, but failed to score. The guests had several more dangerous attacks in front of BiH's goal, but the first half ended goalless.

BiH goalkeeper Damjanović made an excellent save on an Austrian player's attempt at the start of the second half, but in the 56th minute, the guests took the lead. Seidl finished a nice move for 1:0.

Adewumi and Baidoo then had clear chances to increase the lead, but did not convert them, and the BiH selection did not have the strength to respond to the opponent's constant attacks.

In the 77th minute, the guests decided the winner. Seidl scored again for 2:0.

The guests then hit the crossbar and had several more excellent chances, but the final score remained 2:0.
