Mirvić gets a year, and Ibričić seven months suspension from BiH football, FK Sarajevo loses three points and 22,000 KM

(Patria) - The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina has punished FK Sarajevo by taking away three points, and the club president from Koševo, Ismir Mirvić, with a one-year suspension from BiH football.

Sports director Senijad Ibričić was also punished with a 7-month suspension, while coach Simon Rožman received a suspended sentence and a fine of 2,000 KM.

Suspended officials cannot perform any functions in BiH football until their sentence expires. Mirvić must also pay a fine of 2,000 KM, Ibričić 3,000 KM, while Rožman is suspended for three months on probation with a fine of 2,000 KM.

The club was also fined 22,000 KM for poor match organization.

Let us remind you that FK Sarajevo, in protest against poor refereeing, did not finish the BiH Cup quarter-final match with Borac; club officials entered the field and protested fiercely against the referee's decisions. The players withdrew from the field in the 93rd minute of the match with the score at 2:1 in favor of Borac from Banja Luka. The match was registered with an official score of 3:0.

The match was refereed by Mateo Musa from Čitluk.

After the match was stopped, FK Sarajevo president Ismir Mirvić initiated the organization of a Premier League association and the "salvation of BiH football", but it failed due to the lack of support from other participants in the most elite football competition in BiH.
