Mirvić gathers associates, coaching puzzle to be solved tonight: Musemić returns to FK Sarajevo bench

(Patria) - Following the departure of Zoran Zekić, a Croatian expert, from the bench of the Bordo team, speculation about his successor began.

Numerous domestic and international names were mentioned, including prominent figures and unknowns. Marino Pušić, Saša Ilić, Feđa Dudić are some of the most frequently mentioned coaches linked with the FK Sarajevo bench.

There was also consideration for Dženan Hošić, who led the team in Doboj, to continue in the league, but after the (un)expected defeat in Doboj, it became clear that Sarajevo needed an experienced coach.

Tonight, Ismir Mirvić is gathering his closest associates for a meeting where the new coach will be decided. According to the portal Sportske.ba, the new coach is the old helmsman of the Bordo team, Husref Musemić.

Although there were earlier hints, when he was the first candidate as the coach of Igman from Konjic, things got complicated at the last minute, and the experienced expert remained without an engagement at his parent club.

However, everything has aligned now. Sarajevo has had a poor start to this season, the fans are angry and divided in their opinions due to Zoran Zekić's resignation, so Mirvić needs an aspirin to bring in a quality coach and someone suited to the fans of the Bordo team.

The choice has fallen on Musemić. The first assistant to the playing and coaching legend of Sarajevo will be Dženis Ćosic, who has worked with Musemić in previous mandates, both in Sarajevo and at Igman from Konjic.

Musemić still needs to complete his coaching staff. It is very possible that one of the coaches will be Mersudin Ahmetović, a favorite of the Bordo fans, who has been working in Sarajevo's "affiliate", Radnik from Hadžići, in recent months.

From Monday, the new coaching staff, led by Musemić, will likely take over all reins.

Musemić's debut is expected on August 18, when Sarajevo will host Posušje at Košev.
