Ministry of Culture and Sports of KS Warns Public of Serious and Continuous Obstructions in the Work of the Football Association of KS

(Patria) - The Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton warns the public of serious and continuous obstructions in the work of the Football Association of Sarajevo Canton (FSKS) that threaten a complete blockade of the Association and the collapse of its legal continuity, the Ministry announced.

Despite a clear order from the Football Association of the Federation of BiH, which obliges the general secretary of FSKS, Ermin Čolpa, to certify four decisions requested by the Ministry of Justice of FBiH with a seal, he has refused to do so for 14 days, thereby directly endangering the legality and functioning of the Association.

The Association's seal, which belongs to all Sarajevo clubs, has been turned into private property and an instrument of blackmail. His father, Fuad Čolpa, who has been permanently removed from football in Sarajevo Canton, publicly boasts that he has misappropriated the seal, thus effectively blocking the Association's work.

This is no longer sport, but organized obstruction and abuse of office, with the aim of controlling the Football Association of Sarajevo Canton by private and corrupt circles.

“It is no coincidence that such behavior has the support of those who are deeply involved in corruption, yet are full of talk about fighting it. Many are involved in this network, from individuals in cantonal institutions, through structures in the federal and state associations of BiH, to clubs that openly support this criminal regime managed by people from outside the Federation of BiH, those who truly despise my and our Sarajevo.

I call on all relevant institutions, the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, and the Ministry of Justice of KS – to finally put an end to these criminal acts and protect the integrity of sport and the law. As minister, I have filed criminal complaints against those responsible, publicly and transparently, without regard for my own safety, because the fight against corruption in sports is priceless,” said the Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, Kenan Magoda.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton will continue to work consistently and decisively to protect the integrity of sport, public interest, and legality in the work of all sports associations.
