Minimal victory for Borac in Banja Luka over Sarajevo's Blues

(Patria) - Borac football players defeated Sarajevo's Željezničar 1-0 tonight in Banja Luka in the derby of the 10th round of the BiH Premier League, writes Faktor.ba.

The Banja Luka team celebrated with a goal from Zoran Kvržić, who in the 36th minute took advantage of a mistake by the Blues' defense, which was "sleeping" after Herrera's cross, and the former Dragon followed it all to the far post and put the ball into the net.

The home team started the derby better. Vranješ was the first to threaten, hitting the outside of the net. Nikolov's shot went over the goal, and Muftić stopped Ogrinec's attempt.

Željo first threatened in the 35th minute. Galić crossed from the right side, but no one followed it.

And then Željo's goalkeeper capitulated. Truly, it is difficult to explain how poorly the Blues defended a set piece, and Kvržić escaped Radovac.

At the end of the first half, Cvetanoski "shuffled" Borac's defense, but shot wide.

At the start of the second half, Muftić stopped Ogrinec's attempt, and on the other side, Manojlović saved Cvetanoski's attempt.

In the end, the assistant referee raised his flag and signaled offside, although the situation was debatable and VAR would certainly have been consulted if the ball had ended up in Borac's net.

In the 65th minute, Al-Jaber passed to Hiroš, who shot poorly on the first try.

In the second half, Borac ceded possession to the guests, who had a semblance of initiative, but without major chances to equalize and avoid defeat.
