Zrinjski's minimal defeat in Germany

(Patria) - Mostar's Zrinjski suffered a minimal defeat tonight against German side Mainz in the 2nd round of the Conference League group stage.

The "Plemići" faced a Bundesliga team, and it was clear that earning points would be difficult, writes Faktor.

Mainz started aggressively, creating chances, and took the lead in the 24th minute when Weiper scored past Karačić.

In the 38th minute, Savić made things difficult for the BiH team by receiving a direct red card after a harsh foul.

Already in the 50th minute, a great chance for the hosts; Karačić made a mistake, but Memija cleared it off the line.
