Milanović: BiH's EU accession talks will last longer than the country was under the Turks

(Patria) - Croatian President Zoran Milanović commented on Milorad Dodik and HDZ BiH in his statement to the media.

"The negotiations on BiH's entry into the EU will last longer than BiH was under the Turks," Milanović said, Index reports.

He also believes that the US should lift sanctions against Croatian politicians from BiH. The Croatian government, he says, has not done enough to lift these sanctions; it should have retaliated against the US.

"The Prime Minister is a coward who is afraid to compete with me in the first constituency," Milanović said and continued:

"Ukrainians are fighting heroically and dying heroically. This is a war between America and Russia, this is just waiting to turn into a global fire."

"Keep Croatia away from Ukraine. He wanted Croats to participate in the training of Ukrainians. Why? We have incompetent people in charge," Milanović said.

The deficit during his term was 8% of GDP, and interest rates were 7%, he says.

"Were there protests? No. We introduced fiscalization, we dealt with the banks. Successfully, we totally wiped them out," he said.
