Meta unveils tool that turns text into 3D images

(Patria) - American technology corporation Meta has introduced a new artificial intelligence (AI) based tool that converts text queries into three-dimensional images.

The new "3D Gen" system can generate high-resolution three-dimensional images, three to ten times faster than previous models.

The system is based on the AssetGen and TextureGen language models.

Meta also presented examples of the new tool's work on the Threads platform, including three-dimensional images of a butterfly, a dog, a hippopotamus, and a donut.

When a user enters the desired text (prompt), the AI creates a three-dimensional model in less than a minute.

User reactions on the Threads social network are mostly positive, but some experts are concerned that this tool will replace them and take away their jobs.
