Merjem Tucaković Shines at "BOSNA PICCOLO CUP 2024" Meet

(Patria) - The tenth “Bosna PICCOLO CUP 2024” swimming meet was held today, October 26, 2024, in Sarajevo. The meet was organized by the
Swimming Club “Bosna” and featured 309 competitors from Hungary and
Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A team of seven female swimmers and one male swimmer represented Club Velež. They
were: Melina Mujić, Nejra Bešo, Nejra Crnalić, Amila Crnalić, Emina
Ćerimagić, Emir Šapuh, Merjem Tucaković and Lamija Bešo. Each of them
improved their personal best times, with one swimmer particularly standing out.

Merjem Tucaković (born 2016) had a very successful performance. In the three events she competed in, she won two medals and achieved one fourth-place finish. She was best in the 50-meter freestyle event, winning the gold medal, while in the 50-meter backstroke event she won the bronze medal.

Although the results exceeded expectations, there is no time for rest as
new competitions and challenges follow soon, the Velež Swimming Club announced.
