Mbappe to Real Madrid for the next five seasons

(Patria) - Kylian Mbappe has officially become a Real Madrid player.

The Spanish and European champions have signed a five-year contract with the French forward.

"Real Madrid and Mbappe have reached an agreement whereby he will be our player for the next five seasons," the Madrid club announced.

Mbappe previously played for French club PSG, and his contract was set to expire on June 30.

He has won seven French league titles, four French Cups, three Super Cups, and two League Cups.

However, during his seven seasons in the Champions League, he did not manage to win the trophy in that competition.

Mbappe, who won the 2018 World Cup with France, is the Spanish champions' first signing ahead of the upcoming season.

The French national team captain scored 44 goals for PSG in 48 matches this season, and also provided ten assists.
