Mbappé hat-trick "honored" City, PSG reached 10 against Brest

(Patria) - The miracle did not happen after all - Real Madrid remains in the race to defend the title of the best team on the Old Continent.

The Kings defeated Manchester City 3-1 in Madrid tonight and with a total of 6:3 over two legs advanced to the round of 16 of the Champions League, writes Faktor.

The hero of the evening was Kylian Mbappé, who completed a hat-trick. He opened the scoring against the Citizens in the 4th minute and also scored in the 33rd and 61st. The consolation goal for City was scored by Nico González in added time.

PSG was also convincing, tonight defeating Brest 7-0, and 10-0 over two matches.

However, the most exciting match was in Eindhoven, where PSV overcame a first-leg deficit against Juventus.

After the Old Lady won 2-1 in Turin last week, PSV celebrated with the same scoreline at home tonight. The Dutch team scored in the 98th minute of extra time to advance.

In an earlier match, Borussia Dortmund routinely completed their second leg against Sporting and advanced to the round of 16. Tonight's match ended 0-0, with the Millionaires having secured a 3-0 victory in the first leg.
