
(Patria) - Bosnian Olympian Marko Šljivić achieved his best result in the two alpine discipline giant slalom races held today at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
In the overall standings, Marko secured 39th place, which is his best result to date.
He finished the first run in 41st place with a time of 1:22.76, out of 81 skiers who started, while in the second run among 73 competitors, he achieved a better time (1:17.45).
For the ongoing Olympics, the MOC decided that all skiers who start and finish the first run are eligible to compete in the second run.
We wish the representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina the best of luck in the slalom discipline, which is scheduled for February 16th.
