Marinović selects players for matches against Austria and France

(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina U-21 national team head coach Vinko Marinović has selected the players he will count on in the Euro 2025 qualifiers against Austria and France.

The list includes the following players:

- goalkeepers: Muhamed Šahinović (Michalovce, Slovakia), Luka Damjanović (AS Trencin, Slovakia);

- defence: Tarik Muharemović (Juventus, Italy), Anes Čardaklija (GAIS, Sweden), Nidal Čelik (FK Sarajevo), Rijad Smajić (1.FC Köln, Germany), Savo Šušić (FK Borac), Amar Ibrišimović (Wolfsburg, Germany), Senad Mustafić (Sturm Graz, Austria), Enver Kulašin (FK Borac), Nail Omerović (NK Osijek, Croatia);

- midfield: Niko Kovač (Lecce, Italy), Tarik Ramić (HŠK Zrinjski), Muhamed Buljubašić (Rizespor, Turkey), Luka Božičković (NK Nafta 1903, Slovenia), Eldar Mehmedović (FK Sarajevo), Madžid Šošić (HNK Hajduk Split, Croatia), Kerim Alajbegović (Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Germany), Matej Šakota (Slaven Belupo, Croatia), Irfan Ramić (NK Istra 1961).

- attack: Admir Bristrić (Polissya Zhytomyr, Ukraine), Aleksandar Kahvić (OFK Beograd, Serbia), Stefan Marčetić (FK Borac).

- For the upcoming matches, we have also called up a number of younger players whom we will be able to count on in the next qualifying cycle. It is important for us to build a team we can rely on in the long run.

On the other hand, we are facing extremely strong opponents, Austria and France. We must not neglect the result either, and I believe that with this team we have selected, we will present ourselves in the best possible way - says Marinović.

The Young Dragons will host their Austrian peers on September 6 at 18:00 at Grbavica, while on September 10 at 18:30 they will face France in Le Mans.
