Children from returnee communities wish the Dragons luck ahead of the clash with Ukrainians

(Patria) - Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar visited the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team today, which gathered ahead of the playoffs and the upcoming match against Ukraine.

On that occasion, they wished selector Savo Milošević and the national team players luck, and presented them with letters from children from returnee communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Namely, the children wrote from Srebrenica, Janja, Zvornik, Drvar, Prozor, Stolac, Kiseljak, Bosansko Grahovo, and other places.

While the team is fully focused on the upcoming match, the messages delighted them and provided additional motivation ahead of the encounter with Ukraine.

They emphasized that this is the most beautiful way to tell the story of love for the national team and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the letters, the children also wrote about their own sporting achievements, along with sincere wishes and hopes for the team's victory.

"Dear selector, I play football at FK Guber Srebrenica. I heard that you once played at our stadium and that you were a good footballer.

I played in your city of Bijeljina. I wish you and the national team players lots of luck and success in the upcoming matches," wrote ten-year-old Azmir Osmanović from Srebrenica.

A message to the national team was also sent by Jovan Đukić with his friends.

"I am a big fan of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. I wish selector Savo Milošević the greatest successes with the national team and in life. Several of my friends join me in my wishes," reads Jovan's message.

Participants of NK Mladost from Odžak also wrote a letter, in which they particularly expressed their devotion to the national team.

"We are very proud of our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina, to which we give unconditional support in all sports. We have over 300 active members and we are recognizable at all matches where our national team plays," their letter states.
