A rare masterpiece: Austrian scores a goal in just six seconds

(Patria) - Austria defeated Slovakia 2-0 in a friendly match in Bratislava last night.

It wouldn't have been such a notable match if we hadn't witnessed a move that is rarely seen in football.

Namely, the Austrians took the lead after just six seconds!

The scorer of a goal not seen every day was Christoph Baumgartner, the 24-year-old midfielder of RB Leipzig.

After starting from the center, Baumgartner "dribbled past" three opposing players and then, from about twenty meters, precisely hit the bottom right corner of Slovak goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Andreas Weimann secured the victory for Austria with a goal in the 83rd minute of the match.
