London's Chelsea wins Conference League

(Patria) - This season's Conference League winner is London's Chelsea, who tonight in the final played in Polish Wroclaw, defeated Spanish Betis 4:1.

After Roma, West Ham, and Olympiacos, we have the fourth winner of the youngest European club competition, writes Gol.hr.

Betis took the lead in the ninth minute with a goal from Adessamada Ezzalzouli, but the Blues turned the score around in the second half.

Goals were scored by Enzo Fernandez (65th), Nicolas Jackson (71st), Jadon Sancho (83rd), and Moises Caicedo (90+2nd), with Cole Palmer assisting the first two goals.



The English football giant became the first club in history to win all five major UEFA club competitions.

The London Blues were twice European champions (2012, 2021), and also won the UEFA Cup/Europa League twice (2013, 2019).

They also have two titles from the defunct Cup Winners' Cup (1971, 1998), and two European Super Cups (1998, 2021), and now they have become Conference League winners.

A week ago, Tottenham won the Europa League with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao, Spain.

The climax of the season awaits us on Saturday, May 31st, in Munich, when PSG and Inter will clash in the Champions League final.
