Beauty at Grbavica: Željo and Široki draw in a spectacular match with six goals

(Patria) - Sarajevo's Željezničar and Široki Brijeg drew today at Grbavica with a score of 3:3 in a spectacular match of the 17th round of the Premier League of BiH, which was originally scheduled for last night, but was postponed to today due to dense fog, starting at 2:00 PM.

The home team's net was shaken in the first minute when Charniak scored to give Široki Brijeg the lead. This was a prelude to a true goal fest in the first half, which saw as many as five goals, which is anything but typical for the top tier of BiH football.

The home team equalized in the seventh minute when, after a corner kick, the clumsy captain Musa scored an own goal. This was followed by 10 black minutes for the Blues, who conceded two goals due to incredibly poor reactions from their defense, writes Faktor.

In the 10th minute, Tomić brought the guests a new lead, and in the 17th, Stanić was left alone after a corner kick for the third goal for Široki Brijeg. This was the trigger for the home fans, who began to heavily insult the Željezničar players to wake them up and force them to play better.

The home team managed to get back into the game at the very end of the first half when, after a nice run by Ismail, the ball reached Cvetanovski, who sent it into the net.

The second half was not as efficient. Željezničar was, as expected, the team that had slightly more of the game and was looking for opportunities to return things to the beginning or even turn them around.

The Blues had a colossal chance in the 63rd minute when Jaganjac went through alone like a ghost in front of Josipović, but he shot wide from an ideal position, to the disbelief of the crowd at Grbavica.

The home team's coach, Admir Adžem, tried to shake up the team with substitutions and bring something new, but his team struggled to create chances. In the 82nd minute, Jaganjac shot powerfully, but Josipović punched the ball away. In the 83rd minute, Boljević scored to make it 3:3, after which there was a call from the VAR room, and the goal was deemed legitimate.

After the goal, Željezničar launched serious attacks, pushing for a complete comeback. The home players easily reached the penalty area, but they could not score the winning goal.

This is Željezničar's fifth consecutive match without a win and not the best prelude to the eternal derby scheduled for Sunday, but the comeback after being two goals down might bring back optimism to the blue camp.

On the other hand, Široki Brijeg is also in a results crisis, as this was the sixth match without a win for the team from Pecara.
