(Patria) - American skier Lindsey Vonn underwent surgery to stabilize a fracture in her left leg, the Italian hospital announced.
She suffered a severe fall today during the Olympic downhill race in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
The forty-one-year-old Vonn went off the track in the upper section and did not finish, and there are fears this could be the end of her career.
We remind you that Vonn arrived at the Winter Olympic Games with a serious knee injury, specifically torn cruciate ligaments.
