Lejla Njemčević received a diplomatic passport of BiH

(Patria) - Lejla Njemčević, the best BiH cyclist and leader on the world UCI ranking list in the marathon discipline, received a diplomatic passport of BiH.

The diplomatic passport, which will greatly facilitate her travels to competitions around the world, was awarded to her by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, namely Minister Elmedin Konaković.

"The greatest honor for an athlete is to defend the colors of their homeland in international competitions.

The diplomatic passport of my Bosnia and Herzegovina is an exceptional privilege, but also an obligation to represent our country in the best possible way, both in competitions and outside them by promoting its beauties and landmarks," Njemčević stated on social media.
