(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's best judoka Larisa Cerić also triumphed in the 2nd round of the Olympic Games in Paris in the +78 kg category.
After defeating New Zealander Sydnee Andrews in the first round, she defeated Rochele Nunes from Portugal by ippon in the quarterfinal match.
With this victory, Cerić secured a fight for an Olympic medal, the only one missing from her rich career.
In the next round, our representative will fight against Romane Dicko, the top favorite and one of the best judokas of today. However, the Frenchwoman was too strong for Cerić, who goes to the repechage and a fight for a medal.
Today, BH athlete Mesud Pezer also competes, who will perform in the shot put in qualification group A at 8:10 PM.
