Last year, more than 1.2 million tons of petroleum products were imported into FBiH

(Patria) - The Federation of BiH imported 1,203,167 tons of petroleum products last year, which is 12.44 percent more than the previous year.

Last year, 184,036 tons of petroleum products were procured from suppliers from RS, which is 3.15 percent less compared to 2024, the Federal Ministry of Trade announced.



The largest quantities of petroleum products were imported from Croatia, Italy, and Serbia, accounting for 93 percent of the total imports, while from the BiH entity RS, the largest procurement was from Optima Grupa and NIS Petrol from Banja Luka.

The largest importers are Holdina, G-Petrol, Petrol BH Oil Comp, all from Sarajevo, and Hifa-Oil from Tešanj, and these four companies account for 93 percent of the total import of petroleum products in the FBiH.
