(Patria) - The Olympic team of Bosnia and Herzegovina begins its participation at the Olympic Games in Paris today, which you can follow live on BHRT programs.
Our talented swimmers, Lana Pudar and Jovan Lekić, have their first competitions today.
Pudar is competing in the 100-meter butterfly, and Lekić in the 400-meter freestyle.
The qualifications are scheduled to start at 11 AM.
The best female swimmer from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is also the greatest hope of our Olympic team, completed her final preparations in Turkey, in Antalya, from where she stated that she is going to the Olympic Games this time with more experience, better prepared, and with greater ambitions.
"I am looking forward to my second appearance at the biggest sporting event in the world and I really can't wait for the start of the Olympic Games. I am very proud of the great support I have from our people in the homeland and diaspora, and that is something that gives me enormous motivation. I enjoy representing my country at major competitions and I hope that with my performances I will make all our people happy and proud," Lana said earlier.
Unlike Pudar, these are Lekić's first Olympic Games in which he is competing.
"Never give up on your goals, fight until the end regardless of the circumstances, a disciplined mind and body always yield the best results," is the message from the Bosnian and Herzegovinian Olympian.
