Lakić and directors of companies in the defence industry in FBiH: Process of strategic orientation of the defence industry has begun

(Patria) - Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić has formed a team for the development of a strategy for the defence industry for the next ten-year period, whose commitment is technological progress, better cooperation between companies in the defence industry, and an increase in production volume and the number of employees.

- The defence industry, as a generator of development in the Federation of BiH, has absolute support and is a priority for the development of the Government of the Federation of BiH and the relevant ministry. We are taking on the coordinating role, while ensuring all necessary conditions for the development of this industry - said Minister Lakić.

He emphasized that the goal is to change the current situation with several companies in the defence industry in bankruptcy in the coming period.

- We have a difficult and challenging job ahead of us. We symbolically met at the Zrak company and thus once again gave support for the recovery of this company. Several other companies are in bankruptcy, I will also mention Vitezit, which is greatly missed in the operational system of defence industry companies. We will try to overcome this existing challenge in the coming period as well - Minister Lakić conveyed, as announced by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry.
