
(Patria) - The handball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has qualified for the playoff for the 2027 World Championship.
In the pre-playoff, the Dragons were better than Kosovo in a two-leg tie, and despite today's loss in Pristina with a score of 33:29, they have reached the final step towards the major competition that will be played in Germany next year.
Šahinović and Grgić scored six goals each for the BiH team, while Panić and Perić scored four each.
Kosovo was led by Ramosaj with seven goals.
BiH won the first match on Thursday in Tuzla with a score of 34:21. To qualify for the World Championship, the Dragons will face the Faroe Islands. BiH will host the first match on May 13 or 14, and the second leg will be played three days later.
