Basketball team traveled to Istanbul, Gjergja took 11 players

(Patria) - The basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina departed this morning from Sarajevo International Airport for Istanbul, where they will play the first-round match of the World Cup qualifiers tomorrow, against hosts Turkey.

Faced with numerous absences, coach Dario Gjergja took 11 players on the trip: Xavier Castaneda, Faruk Duvnjak, Adnan Arslanagić, Tarik Hrelja, Adin Vrabac, Amar Alibegović, Stefan Simanić, Nikola Marić, Emir Sulejmanović, Ajdin Penava, and Vojin Ilić.

The Dragons will train tonight at the Turkcell basketball center, and tomorrow they will play a match against Turkey at the same venue (7 PM our time), with a live TV broadcast on Arena Sport 1.

On Sunday, they face Serbia in Skenderija.
