Bosnia and Herzegovina's basketball team gathered for their first training session, traveling to China on July 23rd

(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina basketball team has started preparations for Eurobasket, and they held their first training session in Sarajevo tonight. Eurobasket begins at the end of August.

The team will train in Sarajevo, and on July 23rd, they will travel to China where they will play two friendly matches.

Captain Miralem Halilović and Alen Pjanić addressed the media.

"Preparations for something big are starting. We want to focus on us who are here, and then others will join. We want to have the best possible preparations," said Halilović, who did not want to talk too much about the upcoming Eurobasket.

Winger Alen Pjanić is also a debutant for BiH.

"The team is strong, we'll see how the training sessions go. I can't wait for it all to start," said Pjanić.

Head coach Adis Bećiragić did not hide his disappointment at the press conference this morning due to cancellations, so out of 24 invited players, 12 arrived in Sarajevo. Džanan Musa and Jusuf Nurkić will join the team later.
