Basketball players continue training, selector Bećiragić expects Musa to join them on Sunday

(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team continued its training in Sarajevo, where it is preparing for Eurobasket.

Today's training was open to the media, and the selector of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team, Adis Bećiragić, also spoke about the games in China, which he considers productive.

"First of all, we have a lot of preparatory games and a large number of training sessions. I am satisfied with what we did in China. I hope that these guys who have arrived will adapt to the rhythm as soon as possible and get used to our work.

As for those of us who were in China, I am more than satisfied. Now we have to push the others to reach that level as soon as possible. We want to be as ready as possible for the preparatory games. We want to play well, and we cannot play well if we are not physically and mentally prepared. For the guys who were there, we want to upgrade certain defenses and attacks, while the others should try to catch up," said Bećiragić.

Bećiragić hopes that Džanan Musa, who entered into marriage on August 1, will join the national team starting Sunday.

Aleksandar Lazić and Adin Vrabac also shared their impressions with the media, emphasizing that China was an opportunity for players with less playing time to showcase their skills.

"Honestly, this tournament in China was significant, especially for players who have a smaller role in the team. It is very important to have a lot of quality games in these preparations. That is key to preparing as well as possible for the European Championship," said Lazić.

Vrabac pointed out that they can be satisfied with the matches in China but that they continue with preparations.

"This generation has been together for five or six years now, everyone works on themselves even when not in the team cycle. I believe we are ready to achieve the desired form for the European Championship through the preparatory games," Vrabac stated.

The European Basketball Championship will be held from August 27 to September 14 in Latvia, Poland, Finland, and Cyprus.
